Basic class and championship structure.
The 2024 Scottish Modsport Championship was won overall by Shaun Davidson in his BMW after a fantastic year with the hard charging Adam Morrison Mini Cooper K20 second and former champion Natalie Cowie Mini Cooper S in third.
The Scottish Modsports Championship is for Saloons, Sports Cars, Sports Racing Cars and Kit Cars. Its intent is to provide enjoyable, accessible racing for a wide variety of cars with the potential for competitors to progress within the sport if they desire. The championship sees a shift to Power To Weight (PTW) for class structure in 2025. Every car must submit a dyno power run to the scrutineer team with the cars weight.
Single day race meetings will consist of one qualifying session and two races. Triple header weekends have one qualifying session and three races, Q & Race 1 on first day and Race 2 & 3 on day two. Weekend double headers will consist of one qualifying session followed by two races per day.
Our KMSC Club membership is via Alphatiming/Knockhill.
All race entries are submitted via this portal.
The Modsports have Facebook and Instagram pages for seasonal updates.
